Dr. Ziad Omar received his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Anthropology from The University of Toronto where he was on the Dean’s Honour list and received several awards and scholarships. Upon finishing his degree, Dr. Omar was accepted into the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Toronto and earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with High Distinction. Following his graduation from the Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. Omar completed an optional General Practice Residency at the Hospital For Sick Children where he was trained in the dental management of children and adolescents.

Crooked teeth had been something I struggled with ever since my adult teeth began to come in. It was something people constantly pointed out and was something that made self confidence difficult. My entire journey with braces was planned out and seen through by Dr. Omar, and I couldn't ask for anything better! With his skill and expertise, as well as following instructions exactly (seriously everyone just wear your elastics it's not that bad) I was able to have my braces removed after a year and a half. Now I'm no longer afraid to smile, and it's something I'm always complimented on! Thank you so much to Dr. Omar and his team!!! 🙂 Read Less
